The Legal 500 Deutschland 2022: open call for submissions
The season for law firm directories in Germany is open with less than three months to prepare. Some new practice areas have been added, including M&A for smaller deals section and a patent attorney ranking.
Please pay attention that an international firm or the multi-office domestic German firms should submit for the national section by practice area.
The law firms traditionally submit the information about the previous year's key projects, the team, and the firm's development over the past year.
Your submission must highlight to the researchers what makes your firm unique. The referees are the firm's clients and other lawyers that can recommend the firm in the selected law practice or region.
You can find templates of submissions and referee spreadsheets on The Legal 500 website.
Recently the legal directories are paying increased attention to how the law firms deal with diversity and inclusivity issues. On 8 March, The Legal 500 released a study on gender diversity in Germany. You can find the statistics in fivehundred magazine.
The deadline for the German jurisdiction is 31 May 2021.
Smartiee provides the legal firms with comprehensive support in submitting English documents to the legal directories. We help legal firms to define their positioning and unique selling points and aid with the complex and labor-intensive submission process (more details).
