IFLR 1000 2023: Maximizing Success in Submitting to the Ranking

Today, our team attended a webinar where editors from the IFLR 1000 legal directory explained what information they seek and how to create a high-quality submission. We have prepared several useful tips for working on documentation for the ranking.

New Feature for 2023

This year, IFLR 1000 introduced a separate Excel form for nominating lawyers. It is recommended to provide information on three major achievements of the lawyers in their recent work.

Detailed Submission Approach

Researchers recommend following a "fill in as much detail as possible" approach for all parts of the submission.

The Submission Consists of Three Parts

  1. Lawyer Nomination

  2. Information About Your Firm

  3. Key Achievements of Lawyers

Below is additional information.

Client Feedback

An unlimited number of client testimonials can be submitted. All referees will be contacted via email with options for an online survey or a phone interview.

Evidence of Work

Evidence of work is a critical factor. Previously, IFLR 1000 analyzed submissions based on feedback from peers and clients. Starting this year, inclusion depends on the feedback and quality of data in research submissions and other tracked data. Complex, innovative, or significant work is rated higher.
