The Legal 500 goes online
April 18, 2018
An international legal rating The Legal 500 announced changes in the process of filing documentation for participation. Now all the necessary documents for legal companies have to be uploaded directly to the site.
Previously, the submission of documentation was carried out by sending editors to the mail.
In the coming year, the rating expects significant changes. What will change:

Applications for participation and summary tables can be downloaded online
The transition to online application and form autocompletion promises to facilitate the filing process. The status of the submitted application will be available immediately after the documentation has been sent. David Burges, who publishes the rating editor, notes that the content of the applications themselves will not change, so the problems in the process of filing them in the new format will not arise for the law firms.

The Legal 500 will present a new site
The digitalization of the process of submitting data for research is only part of a large-scale transformation. Over time, the site of the publication will be redesigned - it will become more accessible, there will be more opportunities for law firms and lawyer associations.

When creating a new site will be attracted legal firms from the UK, who will be able to participate in the beta testing of The Legal 500 UK 2018 (Solicitors). Unfortunately, for Russian companies and companies from the CIS countries such an opportunity will not be provided.

Recall that the results of the rating in the jurisdiction of EMEA will be published in April 2018.
